Project challenge
The replacement of a water-damaged rear wall could not be documented as an isolated building detail. The site exhibit needed to relate the wall, gutter, alley, sewer cleanout, adjacent patio and property-line clearance, while elevation information remained an open survey item.
Our drafting approach
Prepared a property-line-to-property-line utility plan identifying existing and proposed conditions and revised the discharge location to show clearance from the side property line. The plan distinguished unchanged utilities from proposed drainage work.
Drawing scope documented
- Existing residence, garage and patio layout
- 8 ft 6 in × 8 ft exterior wall repair footprint
- Downspout discharge routing and side-line clearance
- Sewer cleanout and existing service references
- SUDP drainage and field-verification notes
What the records establish
A revised SUDP site utility drawing and correspondence documenting outstanding elevation measurements are available. Final municipal approval is not established.
